Contents intact but cloth on all volumes generally poor, with spine of vol II detached, others torn or loose. Excellent reference with high quality woodcuts, which reached its apogee with the later editions in the 1850s. This version is a re-edition of volumes I and II, with the separate Companion, with its additional plates and descriptions, published as vol III. Would make a nice restoration project.
