Two vintage studio still photographs from the 1962 US release of the 1961 film, here under the US title, "No Place like Homicide." Based on the 1928 novel, "The Ghoul" by Frank King. A group of relatives gather at a mansion in Yorkshire after the death of the homeowner, but once there, members of the family start dying one by on…e. Set in Yorkshire, England. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus, with pinholes and some creasing at the corners. One photograph with bruising to the bottom edge of the verso. Weldon, 1983.

From t…he archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. 8 x 10 inches.
