Exterior shows spotting and soiling along with edge and corner bumps/wear. Rear board has a light spot on the right side near the hinge. Internal binding is good and text pages are tight, no hinge issues found. Pages are toned due to age and some minor smudge marks and foxing is present. Light brown end pages and front and rear are free of any signatures, bookplates, or library markings. The front end page has got some small ink marks in the upper right corner. No author's name is listed on the title page or cover but in the rear of the book there are two advertisement pages entitled "Miss Mulock's Works" along with titles and pricing. Book would grade as VG but condition was lowered because of the spotting and soiling on the exterior rear board.
