Offered is a first edition, first printing of "The Blacksmith's Son, An Autobiography: Lancaster County Heritage, and Christian Principles That Form Life That Is Onward and Upward" written by Paul H. Burkholder and published by the author out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. No date, circa late 1980s or early 1990s. A stapled pamphlet measuring 5-1/2" by 8-1/2" and containing 28 pages including front and rear covers. With a Preface by Dr. Stuart E. Lease and one-page poem "My Bible and I" by Charles Sandford. Mr. Burkholder writes, "The old saying that no man can give more than what God gives will never wear out. My most vivid lesson on giving was learned in the blacksmith shop." Staples rusted; covers lightly soiled; a few small stains to rear cover.
