"Peyton Place" aired on ABC, from September 15, 1964 to June 2, 1969, and epis…ode #3.2 (Season 3 Episode 2) aired on September 14, 1966. Loosely based on the 1956 novel by Grace Metalious, and preceded by the 1957 film, directed by Mark Robson, and starring Lana Turner and Hope Lang, and the 1961 film, "Return to Peyton Place," directed by José Ferrer, and starring Carol Lynley and Tuesday Weld. The popular series was the birth of the prime time American soap opera and aired for 514 episodes. Sandy suspects that Lee may be guilty of Ann's murder. 8.5 x 11 inches. Near Fine.
