During the months long Battle of Bataan, two army nurses are desperate for help and supplies as the soldiers in their care are regularly dying of malaria after recovering from battle wounds. They are able to get 11 civilian women to volunteer to help. Set in Bataan, Philippines, shot on location in Montebello, California. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus, with some wear to the finish, minor creasing along the corners and top edge, and one small tear at the middle of the bottom edge.

Angeli and Dean enjoyed a passionate romantic relationship after having met on the Warner Brothers film lots in 1954, while Dean was filming "East of Eden" and Angeli was filming "The Silver Chalice." Although Angeli's mother would force her to break up with Dean on the grounds that he was not Catholic, Angeli would later say that Dean was "the only man I ever loved deeply as a woman should love a man," and rumors persisted that the couple were secretly in a relationship until Dean's death in September, 1955. 8 x 10 inches.
