Comprehensive look at the three large murals created by fresco painter Jean Charlot while he was artist-in-residence at the University of Georgia, 1941-1944. Unpaginated, with profuse black-and-white photographs, Introduction by Lamar Dodd, & Commentaries by the artist . One of only 2,500 copies printed in the winter of 1945, this small quarto has beige cloth-covered boards stamped & lettered in red to front & spine. Condition is VG+: very clean, binding strong & straight, hinges secure, pages lightly tanned but completely unmarked save for very shallow & mild dampstain to outer top edges, a bit deeper to the last couple of pages & rear endpapers. Mild rubbing to extremities & bumping to both ends of spine & all corners with a barely perceptible dampstain to some parts of lower edges, does not bleed inside here. The price-clipped DJ is VG+, with light rubbing/crinkling at head of spine. Nicely protected in new mylar cover free!
