Condizione: Near Fine binding. 8vo.; in pale blue flexible boards with titling, rule to the perimeter and cross stamped in black to the upper board; [2]. 3-32 pages; there is a faint stamp from a book store ("British American Music Company") on the front board; with the signature of Vernon Perdue Davis on the front endpaper, who was the author of books on Colonial Virginia churches as well as works on hymnody; he was a longtime historiographer for the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia.~~This compilation contains settings of the psalms and hymns for the Burial Service, in the traditional style. It is most uncommon. We locate no institutional holdings, nor any records of sale. Near Fine binding.
