They set off from Tenerife, but the balloon crashed into the sea 1200 miles SE of the Canary Islands. They sailed the rest of the way in the twin-hulled gondola until they were towed into Barbados. 256pp, 2 b&w diagrams. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
