Fischer, wurde 1978 Meisterschüler und erhielt bereits 1979 den Akademiepreis ars mundi . Seine frühe Anerkennung manifestierte sich im Kulturförderpreis der Stadt Fürth 1981. Härings Werk zeichnete sich durch eine bemerkenswerte Vielfalt aus, die Pastelle, Öl auf Leinwand, Gouache, Lithographien und Holzschnitte umfasste Nordbayern . Seine künstlerische Heimat fand er in Frankreich, insbesondere in der Provence, wo er sich von Meistern wie Paul Cézanne inspirieren ließ. Die grafische Durchdringung der Dinge war ihm ein wesentliches Anliegen nicht die oberflächliche Darstellung von Gegenständen, sondern das Wesen der Dinge stand im Mittelpunkt.
