Small book is tight, square, particularly sharp-cornered and free of any markings or flaws inside and out. Near Fine or better. Unclipped pictorial Dust Jacket with a fantastic decoration of a dancing globe by Herford on the front. A closed tear to top front and chipping to top rear but still Good+ or better. Many other illustrations in the text by Herford, who was considered by some to be an American Oscar Wilde for his wit, satire and humor.

He graduated from then later taught at Harvard University. Sunning to extremities, some modest wear & soiling. Overall, a VG+ copy. Tan paper boards with dark green title lettering stamped to front board and spine INSCRIBED by the Illustrator/ Editor with his monogram. Signed.
