Ce ne sont pas des photos tableaux dont nous avons besoin mais d'instantanés à valeur documentaire. Je résume : pour apprendre au public à voir selon de nouveaux points de vue, il est nécessaire de photographier les sujets qui lui sont familiers selon des angles et des points de vue inattendus et de photographier des sujets plus neufs sous une multitude de points de vue afin d'en donner une représentation totale. (.) Et les points de vue les plus intéressants pour le photographe contemporain sont ceux de haut en bas et de bas en haut et leurs diagonales.
