Da dynamische, Untersuchungen aber selbst bei vorausgesetztem linearen Ver halten meist wesen…tlich aufwendiger sind als statische Berechnungen, spielen Näherungsverfahren hier eine grosse Rolle. Bei schockartiger Belastung ist die Methode der Antwortspektren heute die meistverwendete Näherungsmethode zur Bestimmung der Extremwerte der Verformungen und Schnittgrössen des Trag werks. ~aben die dynamischen Lasten den Charakter eines Zufallsprozesses wie beispielsweise Wind-, Wellen- oder auch Erdbebenbelastung, so liefert die probabilistische Tragwerksdynamik ebenfalls Aussagen über die Extremwerte der interessierenden GrÖssen. In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden die Zusam menhänge zwischen beiden Methoden bei stochastischen dynamischen Belastungen untersucht. Die Anregungen zu diesen Untersuchungen kamen einerseits aus meiner prakti schen Tätigkeit als beratender Ingenieur, wo im Zusammenhang mit dynamischen Berechnungen immer wieder offene Fragen der Methode der Antwortspektren auf geworfen und diskutiert wurden. Die Anwendung probabilistischer Verfahren im Vergleich zur Methode der Antwortspektren in einigen ausgewählten Fällen zeigte, dass damit bei ebenfalls kleinem Aufwand das Tragwerksverhalten zu treffender und methodisch einheitlich erfasst werden kann. Andererseits ga ben mir die Vorbereitungsarbeiten zu einer Vorlesung an der ETH Zürich über stochastische dynamische Lasten und nichtlineare dynamische Probleme Gelegen heit, die stochastischen Verfahren auch in ihrem Zusammenhang mit den übrigen heute gebräuchlichen Verfahren darzustellen.

Dabei wird auf der einen Seite großes Gewicht auf die Herausarbeitung der physikalischen Zusammenhänge und der Querverbindungen bei den verschiedenen Aufgaben d…er Tragwerksdynamik gelegt. Auf der anderen Seite wird bewußt der Standpunkt der numerischen Berechnung diskretisierter Tragwerke eingenommen. Durch diese im ganzen Text verfolgte Darstellung der physikalischen und der numerischen Seite soll der Leser mit dem Rüstzeug versehen werden, auch umfangreiche numerische Rechnungen sinnvoll durchführen und kontrollieren zu können. Nach der Besprechung der Grundlagen werden die verschiedenen Probleme der Tragwerksdynamik anhand des Einmassenschwingers behandelt. Darauf aufbauend wird ausgehend von einem diskretisierten Kontinuum die Bewegungsgleichung hergeleitet. Für das Eigenwertproblem, die Frequenzgangberechnung und die erzwungenen Schwingungen werden die wichtigsten Computermethoden angegeben und beurteilt. Weiterhin werden stochastische Lasten und nichtlineare dynamische Probleme behandelt. Praktisch alle Verfahren sind so dargestellt, daß sie sich zum Einsatz in den verschiedensten Anwendungsgebieten wie Bauwesen, Maschinenbau, Luft- und Raumfahrt, Offshore-Technik etc. eignen.
