Aggiungi al carrelloALS, on letterhead of Lochnagar, Bycullah Park, Enfield; 17 December 1912, 3pp., 12mo. He thanks him for the 'letter & all its encouragement [.] The book represents rather under a year's work at verse & I only hope I shall not someday have to wish it had never been other than firelight. Precedent seems to suggest that one would have to be an exception if that is to be the case.' He is also grateful to RL for offering 'to send "When roads are dark" to the Nation for me [.] in the Anthology making competition in the Westminster Gazette last Saturday they said I was "the most popular" of the prize winners!'.
