Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. No Jacket. Complete set of this extremely scarce modern edition of the works of E. A. Poe, published from 1969 to 1997. Thomas Olive Mabbott edited the Poems and the Tales and Sketches for Harvard UP but died in 1968. Prescott, published by Gordian Press, 1981 with a new preface and a new Introduction. The additional Volumes are „Eureka" and „Critical Theory". These volumes were edited by Stuart and Susan F. Levine and published by the University of Illinois Press. The last two titles were originally planned as part of the Pollin edition of the Writings. This is a unique collection. Books are in very good, mostly unused condition. The Imaginary Voyages volume has been rebound, retaining the original spine title. The Dustwrappers of the Harvard UP volumes show some wear, the dustwrappers of the Illinois UP volumes are very good, the other volumes were published without dustwrappers. No other markings. An indispensable set for the Poe scholar.…
