Begins, on the subject of a proposed children's script for BBC radio: 'Will you go ahead with Akbar? I am in a nursing Home pro. Tem small sudden operation septic tonsils & will be incapacitated for a fortnight.' She reassures her about the script: 'I know you'll do a good job. Working on these things one after another is always a bit wearisome but you're full of ideas.' Ends: 'I've found some nice pictures of Akbar in the Vic & Albert.' TWO: ACS ('Rhoda Power'). Again no date and address as Item One. She thanks her for 'the lovely little rose tree I lie & look at it'. She reports that her health is improving: 'I can't do any work so I am having an orgy of reading & have just finished The Bride (Margaret Irwin)'.
