Binder's quarter blue cloth with patterned paper on boards and printed paper title label fixed to front board, gilt lettering to spine, cream endpapers. Tall Quarto, [2 (blank)], [2 (Half-title, blank)], [2 (title-page, imprint)], pp. v-viii, 32 [2 (limitation page, blank)], with five colour plates tipped in, one copy letter from Edward Bawden laid in and title page decoration printed from the original wood engraving made for the Dent Everyman series by Eric Ravilious.
