As with other books of this age, the spine has a few wrinkles probably due to the manufacturing process. A copy in incredible condition. Great for the serious collector of vintage mystery paperbacks. From the back cover: "A downtown street ? where a dead man sat at the wheel of a parked car. A dead-end street ? where someone dumped a corpse and drove away. A busy highway ? where a murder backfired and things got hot for a car full of crooks." Features the amateur detective couple John and Anne Webb. John is an attorney while Anne is a singer, and they are newlyweds who are very much in love. This was the second and last book to feature the couple. This is one of the sought-after Dell Map Back series of books which published maps of the main scenes on the back cover. Dell 646.
