With the stamps of Television magazine on the verso, along with manuscript pencil annotations crediting photographer Dave Preston. Fisher gained accolades as one of the most popular pop singers of the 1950s, making guest appear…ances on television and even gaining his own variety television series in 1953, "Coke Time with Eddie Fisher" on NBC. Unfortunately, the public exposure of his affair with his wife Debbie Reynolds' best friend Elizabeth Taylor (and subsequent divorce from Reynolds and marriage to Taylor in 1959) generated a storm of negative publicity, and his popularity went into decline by the turn of the decade. 11 x 14 inches. Very Good plus, with light wear to the right edge.
