In 209 pages with pen-and-ink illustrations throughout by William Meade Prince, who also created the DJ cover art (including a horridly racist caricature of a black girl who was one of the gang). Hardcover small 8vo has light blue cloth-covered boards lettered in darker blue to spine. Condition is Fair: boards warped with fainting dampstaining both inside & out to upper-outer edges, binding cracked & reglued, but 2 pages in front matter still loose. Old gift inscription to ffep; else, pages clean & unmarked. The slightly clipped DJ (with $1.50 price intact on front flap) is Good: largely intact & colorful with edgewear, small chips, short tears; nicely protected in new mylar cover Free!
