Couverture conservée. Accompagnés de deux portraits sous serpente inédits de Louis XVII [en frontispice] et de la princesse de Tarente. Louise-Emmanuelle de Châtillon (1763-1814), petite fille du célèbre bibliophile duc de La Vallière par sa mère, épousa Charles-Bretagne-Marie de La Trémoille, prince de Tarente. Nommée dame d'honneur de la Reine en 1785, elle se dévoua complètement à Marie-Antoinette, à Versailles en octobre 1789, lors de la journée du 20 juin ou de celle du 10 août. Ses souvenirs se rapportent au début de la Révolution et finissent en 1792. Un extrait des mémoires du duc de la Trémoille et des lettres de Madame de Tarente terminent le volume.
