Gilt lettering on spine is much faded, tips are exposed, spine is damaged at top and bottom. Brown glazed pastedowns are split at hinges, and ownership information in pencil is unreadable on flyleaf. Interior pages are tanned and lightly spotted, but free of marginalia. Edited by Wilson's son-in-law, James Frederick Ferrier.
