First English edition, first impression. Publisher's original black cloth with illustrations in grey, red and white to the upper board and with titles in red to the spine. A better than very good copy, the binding square and firm with some softening to the spine tips. The contents, with some foxing to the prelims and text block…edges, are otherwise clean throughout and without previous owner's inscriptions or stamps.
