Die Schre…ib- und Lesestabilität von SRAM-Zellen ist bei niedrigen Versorgungsspannungen und auch bei Prozess-, Spannungs- und Temperaturschwankungen von größter Bedeutung. Wenn eine niedrige Versorgungsspannung an die SRAM-Zelle angelegt wird, kann der Schreibvorgang nicht durchgeführt werden, da die Zelle nicht auf die gewünschten Spannungspegel kippen kann. Zur Verringerung von Schreibfehlern bei niedrigen Versorgungsspannungen wird eine Schreibhilfsschaltung vorgeschlagen, die eine negative Bitleitungsspannung verwendet und die SRAM-Zelle dabei unterstützt, auf die gewünschten Spannungspegel zu kippen und den Schreibvorgang zu unterstützen.Wenn eine niedrige Versorgungsspannung an die SRAM-Zelle angelegt wird, kann der Lesevorgang in der ausgewählten Zelle nicht durchgeführt werden und die in der Zelle gespeicherten Daten werden in den nicht ausgewählten Zellen gestört.
