Honestly remarkable how well intact and bright the book itself is with just the slightest shelfwear at the extremities of the boards and with an immaculate interior, containing illustr…ations by the great Arthur Rackham. The dustjacket is now preserved in mylar - it has a nearly fully intact front panel, with some chipping at the upper edge and some small closed tears, rubing and creasing elsewhere. The spine is heavily chipped, missing about 1/2 of the length of it although wonderfully maintaining most of the title of the book, author info, and the small illustration - the publisher tag at the very bottom is present although detatched but placed within the mylar where it would have been. Back panel has 2 very large chips at the bottom, a small piece missing towards the top, and a large and small chip at the top edge, in addition to some rubbing and creasing. Overall a nice copy though .
