SIGNED with long inscription by the author on half-title page. 362 p. w/ a few illus., appendix, glossary, map. A collection of documents covering the war years of an Ottoman officer originally from Kaan in the Russian Empire. He was primarily a training officer, but has commentary on many events. Ege later became the first Cultural Attache to the United States of the Ottoman Republic.
