His work at the plant begins the next day, where he successfully identifies several technical solutions but faces significant human obstacles, most notably the unexplained hostility from the local boiler operators. The situation is complicated by underlying local unrest, requiring him to have a constant security detail.The trip takes a dangerous turn when Rohan is kidnapped by a local gang, a harrowing experience from which he is eventually rescued after a tense negotiation. The very next day, his return from the plant is interrupted by a city-wide blackout and a sudden, intense shootout. Abandoned by his terrified driver and guards, Rohan runs for his life and finds refuge in the home of a local family.
