Paperback. Condizione: Good. Written by a perfect scoring author, this book takes a radically original approach to ACT test preparation. While almost all of the ACT test preparation books try to make simulated ACT test questions which lack the scientific validation of the real ACT tests, this book uses the official ACT practice test which is available free from the makers of the ACT. In the book you will see insightful explanations of how the high scoring authors actually approach every question of a full scientifically validated real ACT test. In addition to this analysis of the real test, the authors have examined several released real ACT tests and identified the essential core knowledge that is needed for the test. The book has original insights and strategies not found in any other books. The authors have avoided the encyclopedic large book approach taken by most of the other books on the market, and have presented a streamlined version of the skills and knowledge pertinent to the ACT. The student should be able to complete the entire book in a short amount of efficiently used time. The authors have taken great pains to keep out any fluff and irrelevant material that will distract the reader. EXCERPTS FROM AMAZON REVIEWS OF FIRST EDITION: .this wonderful little guide focuses on the core concepts necessary to master the test. It is also the only guide I've seen that emphasizes the immense value of using only the practice tests designed by the test makers, and the solutions provided to one of the real practice tests provide wonderful examples of the proper mental approach to answering ACT questions.
