A 1975 concert poster for the Rolling Stones shows at the Cow Palace in San Francisco on July 15 - 16, 1975. The show was presented by Bill Graham, and the poster was designed by legendary poster artists Randy Tuten, Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelley and Arab. In very good condition. Measures 22" x 33", with minimal wear to edges and a faint 1" crease to upper center border. CX Consignment. Shelved at Rockville PS1101. 1349176. Special Collections - Upstairs.

An incredible collection of 1960s Bay Area concert posters/handbill. The first is an original concert poster for the June 1967 grand opening of the notorious San Francisco venue The Western Front. The concerts advertised took place between June 28th and July 2nd, and featured the following bands: Big Brother & the Holding Company, Quicksilver Messenger Service, the Siegal-Schwall Blues Band, the Charlatans, Congress of Wonders and Bill Ham's Light Sound Dimension. This is a 1st Printing, and measures 14" x 20". Designed by Greg Irons. San Francisco, 1967. In very good condition. Age toning to edges and light wear to corners. Mild foxing to lower right border. The second is an original poster for the first live concert of The Band in April, 1969. Two other acts performed: Sons of Champlin and Ace of Cups. Designed by Randy Tuten. This is a 1st printing, and measures 13.5" x 21". San Francisco, 1969. In very good condition. Printed on glossy index stock. Mild age toning and slight wear to corners. The third is a rare original 1968 concert poster for a performance featuring Ace of Cups, Allmen Joy and The Fugs. Created by famed poster designer Jaxon, and promoted by Family Dog. The dates for the performance were April 12 - 14, 1968 at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. San Francisco, 1968. In very good condition. Minor wear to corners. The fourth item is an original 8" x 11" handbill for a 1966 concert headlined by Jefferson Airplane, with supporting acts Great Society, Bill Ham and Society by Artists. Designed by Stanley Mouse and Kelley Alton, and presented by Family Dog. This is the Type B version of the handbill. San Francisco, 1966. In very good condition. Minor wear to left edge.
