First printing of a large format hardback in landscape format, beautifully produced by Nostalgia Press, with special care to reproduce the stunning line work of Alex Raymond. The cloth cover is beautifully gilt stamped with Alex Raymond's signature and the title. The endpapers are gorgeous. Taking the age into consideration this has few flaws; a former owner's signature, which is neat and dated '1967' is on the half title, and which dates this rather neatly; there are some slight foxing spots; the cover is complete but it has some fairly insignificant losses, chips and creases, but it is essentially complete and now protected. A super collectable of a true classic. Large format, very heavy, this might need extra postage charges depending on destination. Language: eng.

Only 750 copies of the broadside were made and they were issued UN-NUMBERED. It was printed Letterpress by the Kelly-Winterton Press on a Chandler & Price Craftsman press. The text, handset in Jessen metal foundry type, was printed on Gutenberg Laid paper. 750 copies were produced and sent to customers of SUNTUP Editions as a gift. EXTREMELY RARE in the UK. Included is the English small press Folio First Edition hardback of the great novel itself. This new and wonderful special hardback edition of the author's masterpiece was issued in a slipcase. Printed on special acid free paper, the unique illustrations are by Gerard DuBois. There is a terrific essay as an afterword by Michael Chabon. This is an UNREAD perfect new copy of a book that has been produced in a distinguished new hardback edition, produced with an eye on longevity. It says a big yes to a very considerable talent and a supreme book. McCarthy collectors will want this great edition of an American classic, especially with the RARE BROADSIDE.

He is gifted and can be funny and he can make you sad. He has actually held this first edition hardback book and SIGNED it on the title page, in a blue felt tip pen. It has a slightly and deliberately stressed looking rear of the jacket, which you can see in one of my photos. Some people think it is a fault. But it is not a fault. This jacket also has an official 'SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR' sticker on it. I must say that this collection makes you want to meet Tom Hanks. Shake him by the hand. The hand that actually held this book open when he signed it. We've all watched him on screen. And here in these wonderful stories we catch another side to his great talent. Signed by Author.
