Neuware -Este livro relata uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre membranas cerâmicas e depois o fabrico de filtros de água cerâmicos macroporosos de baixo custo (a serem utilizados em aplicações de microfiltração) utilizando argilas egípcias (argila… de bola de Assuão e caulino de Assuão) para além de outras matérias-primas, tais como feldspato de potássio e quartzo que se encontram localmente no Egipto. Três filtros de água de cerâmica tubular foram fabricados pelo método de fundição deslizante. As matérias primas e as membranas cerâmicas queimadas foram caracterizadas. Drei röhrenförmige keramische Wasserfilter wurden im Schlickergussverfahren hergestellt. Die Rohmaterialien und die gebrannten Keramikmembranen wurden charakterisiert. Die Leistung der hergestellten Filter wurde durch die Bestimmung der Trübung, der Gesamtcoliformen, des CSB und der BSB-Entfernung aus Leitungswasser und El-Salam-Schleusenwasser sowie der prozentualen Abscheidung von Huminsäure und Ölpartikeln aus dem Abwasser bewertet.
