Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good Minus. 1st Edition. This book was previously owned by U.S. Congressman Peter A. Peyser. Included with the book is a signed letter to the Congressman from Raul Roa-Kouri, who was the Ambassador Permanent Representative of Cuba (see photo). He passed away less than a year after writing this letter. Castro's speech runs 61 pages. It is followed by 14 pages of b&w photographs. It appears to be a First Edition (NAP). While I have rated both the dust jacket and book Very Good, there are several imperfections that need to be referenced. The first, as you can see from the photographs I've provided, is some 'bubbling' of the material of the dust jacket. You may have seen this kind of thing before. Nothing is torn. I'm not sure what the science is behind this 'bubbling'. Also, you may be able to see in the photograph that the top of the spine has a little denting. Again, there is no tearing. The dust jacket is very clean, both the blue and white sections. Turning to the book, the same denting can be seen at the top of the spine. There is also a crease that begins at the middle of the spine and ends at the bottom of the spine. There is a tiny dent at the middle edge of the front cover. Again, as you can see from the photographs, the white covers are very clean, not a spot of soiling anywhere. And despite the bumping and creasing on the spine the book is very solidly bound. The pages of the book look terrific, very bright, very clean, no writing/underlining, no creasing. There is a small spot near the top edge of six or seven successive pages. It's not a spot of soiling, it appears to be from the print itself of the book. I would suspect that you would see it in any copy that was published. The photographs look perfect, flawless. The dust jacket will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned.
Condizione: As New. Like New condition. (cuba) A near perfect copy that may have very minor cosmetic defects.
