For distribution at St. Louis during the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in 1904. First edition.10" x 6 3/4" in gray pictorial wrappers, printed in red and black. 82 pp. Photographs. Map. History of Montana and with information on agriculture, schools and churches, mining, irrigation, lumber, hunting, fishing, women of Montana, et…c. Followed by a description of and information about each Montana county. Photographs include buildings in each county; farm operations in the Flathead Valley, farming scenes; lumbering scenes; irrigation scenes; etc. Attached to inside rear wrapper is a colorful fold-out map of the state of Montana. Pages lightly soiled. 1" chip to foot of spine and with wear to spine and extremities of wrappers. Five small ink marks to edge of front wrapper and with 1/4" closed tear to bottom edge. Good plus.
