Many of their phrases and expressions -- 'Curiouser and curiouser,' or 'Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast' -- have entered the language of everyday use. IN QUOTABLE ALICE. David W. Barber. brings together the best and most memorable of Carroll's pithy expressions from the Alice books, complete with an index for easy reference. Neuware - This collection of daily devotionals is written by pastors' wives, for pastors' wives with the sincere goal to bring encouragement to women who labor tirelessly for the Lord with their husbands. The devotionals focus on encouraging and strengthening the pastor's wife in her calling, self-care, raising of children, work in the ministry, and most importantly, her relationship with God. Each contains key verses, prayers, and space to journal thoughts and reflections. You can spend a day or a week on a single devotion, depending on God's leading. Whatever the case, in each devotion, you'll find the voice of a woman with whom you can identify-and you can find comfort in knowing that she has also written in hopes of identifying with you.
