Die Planungund Installation von Netzwerken wird iiblicherweise von Fachfirmen vorgenommen. Unumstritten setzt die Firma NOVELL mit ihrem Netzwerk-Betriebssystem NetWare einen Standard, der verschiedensten Anforderungen gerecht wird. Der Netzwerk-Betreuer ben5tigt umfangreiche Kenntnisse der eingesetzten Hard-und Software, um das Netzwerk-Betriebssystem auf die individuellen Belange der einzelnen Anwender anzupassen. Die vorliegende Publikation ersetzt nicht die umfangreichen Handbiicher, die zum Lieferumfang der Netzwerk-Software geh5ren. Vielmehr ist sie Erganzung, die die wesentlichen Praxisfragen, die in den Handbiichem nicht beschrieben sind, auf greift.
