No date, plates dated 1908. Red cloth over boards, with fairy and Art Nouveau embellishments stamped in gilt to upper board and spine, both lettered in kind. Rather heavy wear to binding, with lean to spine, slight warping to boards, soiling to cloth, spot of rubbing to top corner, hard bumping to corners, and chipping and small tears to head and tail of dimmed spine. Front inner hinge cracked and repaired with archival adhesive. Binding remains quite firm and sound. Toning to endpapers and light foxing to preliminaries. Previous owner's name to front free endpaper, and very occasional pencilled mark, else pages clean and unmarked. Illustrated throughout in frontispiece, pictorial title page, two full-page illustrations, and over 25 enchanting vignettes throughout.…
