Spine decorated with very slightly raised bands with bright gilt tooled decoration to top, center, and bottom compartments; brown title label in second compartment mostly lacking with stamped lettering barely legible; fourth compartment retains rubbed brown label with gilt stamped lettering. Spine ends scuffed with abrasion along joints; boards rubbed; strong wear to top corner of front board with lighter wear to other corners. Four leaves (engraved title page inclusive to page vi) detached and now laid-in. Binding otherwise firm and interior pages are clean. A good copy.
