Wilks, introduction by author, list of illustrations, and index. Coloured illustrated frontispiece, showing two types of daffodils -- Elegance and Gloria Mundi. Within the text there are another seven coloured illustrations, each with two types of daffodil flower shown. Illustrated front cover, showing two types of daffodils, against a green background, with green writing on the front panel and spine. Fore edge of paper and lower edge of paper has been hand cut. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and to the book corners. Underlying webbing/board can be seen in places. The boards are rubbed, faded and somewhat scuffed. Illustration is likewise. The spine is particularly rubbed and faded and there has also been some sun damage. Browning to the endpapers and to the internal pages as well. Occasional foxing spot throughout.
