Cloth. Condizione: Poor. Also includes Lives of St. Patrick and St. Bridget, as well as "a series of beautiful, full-page engravings". Appears to be an 1886 copy of this book. Cloth hardcover has many tears, especially at corners, edges, and spine along with other stains and discoloration/fading, and spine is coming detached fro…m front and back covers. Inside covers have some water damage (as well as first few pages of front matter) and staining. Pages have acid yellowing/browning in margins and occasional foxing elsewhere. Some inserts may be missing, one insert in very poor condition is tucked in inside back cover. We are a Benedictine Abbey and Seminary library in Oregon. We appreciate your support.

Vol. VIII is minimally ex-library, with call label on lower spine, F&M College (Gift of B. F. Fackenthal, Jr.) book plate mounted inside front cover. Vol. VIII shows minor loss (nibbling?) at top corner through most of text block, not affecting any text, this copy thus Good only, the set overall VG. Firm bindings, clean interiors.
