Very rare set of books published as the Epworth Herald Library ; an apparent Methodist related publishing organization with all books originally copyrighted and originally published by Hitchcock & Walden with copyright dates from 1873 to 1881; a first edition thus uniform… set with an attractive dulled blue grey cloth binding with orange lettering slightly dulled on front and spine ; some corners slightly bumped pages are crisp as hardly turned but browned as normal with age; no internal markings and bindings are tight ;there's very slight puckering to cover on john wesley o.w. a very good plus and very rare set of uniform books that were most likely published in 1881 additional images available upon request.
