Leon would find a way. 'It's been a labor of love' to juggle both tribal council and father duties, but as you will read, Leon rises above the hardships, fighting every inch of the way! As tribal councilman, Leon establishes himself as a local politician and helps generate hundreds of millions of dollars for the tribe, including crafting, presenting, and getting approval for the first ever Jicarilla Apache Nation tribally owned holding company, unfortunately singlehandedly dismantled by spite, jealousy, and ignorance, and all from a corpus that is supposed to create but only typically destroys the beauty of tribal sovereignty.
