Ken Maynard in Western Justice (book number 1438) was written by Rex Loomis - illustrated by Irwin Myers and was published by Whitman Publishing Company in 1938. It appears to be a First Printing book in Whitman's Big Little Book series though it's not specifically stated as such., It is 3 5/8" by 4 1/2" and has 428 pages with "hard cover" boards and black-and-white illustrations throughout. Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Robert R. Weisman (illustratore). 1st Edition. A chunky little book in the Better Little Books series. It's 4.5" x 3.75", and nearly 1.25' thick. Every spread has the text of the story on one side, and a simple drawing with a caption on the other side. There are 424 pages, so that's a lot of little drawings. The textblock is quite browned, hinges at both endpapers a little cracked, but holding, a couple of pages have short closed tears to top edge, and there's a small knock in top of front board. Overall a very good copy of this novelty.
