Our finish, totally hand-made with shellac - gommalacca and home-made antiquating patina, is distressed and mellow, retaining such great clarity to show off the beauty of the color and the figure of the wood. It consists of 12 to 15 hand-applied steps, a trademark of our workshop. The gilding is rigorously made in leaf and it gives the piece an extra touch of refinement.
