This updated and revised edition from Blue Acorn Press has corrected spelling and punctuation, and divided the text into 20 chapters. Also added are 25 photographs, notes, maps and illustrations, which were not part of the original 1925 publication. While this account chronicles the daily life in camp of one Confederate enlisted man, it also brings into focus nearly the entire history of his company and regiment on the march and in battles fought in Mississippi, Georgia and Alabama. 281pp., with notes, appendices, bibliography, index. Book is clean and tight, with no marking or soiling and bright pages. Previous owner's book plate on front pastedown. Dust Jacket has excellent even color and no nicks or tears, but does have a small water stain on front panel, and has now been covered with a mylar sleeve. A solid attractive copy.
