Includes five unpublished Confederate battle reports are included. During the summers in the 1960's, my dad took us to many of the reenactments during the Centennial. I remember, for lots of reasons, the hot, sunny July afternoon in 1963 when I watched my father, as a SGT in the 8th Michigan Cavalry, fall to a rebel's shot and become a casualty, fortunately in the shade of big tree. What a site to a you boy to see the artillery barrage and the ensuing charge.

Superb facsimile reprint of the classic and uncommon 1905 title "The Flags of the Confederate Armies. Returned to the Men Who Bore Them by the United States Government." Signed boldly on the title page in blue ballpoint by editor Rollins. This reprint itself is mildly uncommon.
