Inscribed by the author twice on the first free end-page. The first a warm inscription, signed and dated 1932; and the second a regift, signed and dated 1979.  Boards are slightly soiled with wear to all edges.  The rear gutter has cracked but looks to have been repaired at some point. Spine is discolored with chipping and small tears to both ends.  Internally, aside from the inscriptions, the pages are slightly age-toned, but otherwise clean and bright. Binding tight and hinges intact.  . Inscribed by author.
