Collection of nine vintage studio still photographs from the 1961 film. Based on William Faulkner's novels, "Sanctuary" and "Requiem for a Nun." A harsh film with frank dialogue throughout regarding rape, female sensuality, and sexual brutality. The final version of the film suffered from the changes made, an attempt to make something "literary" and "respectable" from a novel where disrespect and ill repute were at the center of a grim story. 8 x 10 inches. Near Fine with light toning overall, wrinkling, and a graphite manuscript notation to the verso of one image.

Aggiungi al carrello4to. 1 p. Gedr. Briefkopf. Kuvert. An Carola v. In a word, I have a considerable fortune and no heir": Words cannot express my appreciation for this most generous offer. Regrettable, however, I have in my own home a similar problem to that you have expressed in connection with your castle. [] It is awkward and painful for me to go into much detail here in this letter regarding the nature of these manifestations, but one example, which I'm sure you will appreciate, is an unaccountable and strange odor of cigar smoke which, from time to time, mysteriously permeates the house. This is quite astounding, since neither my wife nor myself nor my children smokes. Another illustration of the phenomenon is the mysterious appearance of screenplays resting on the floor outside my bedroom door like shoes waiting to be polished. The phenomenon always arrives in pairs, each on containing rather similar subject matter, i.e., one would never finda pair of shoes made up of one black, one brown. These screenplays are obiously the work of a very skilled ghostwriter, hoping to have me polish his scripts.
