Aufl. 1889), Werke, die sich sämtlich grosser Beliebtheit erfreuten und R.'s Namen weithin bekannt gemacht haben. 1846 legte R. seine Privatdozentur nieder und siedelte als Oberamts-Wundarzt nach Reutlingen über, von wo er, einem Ruf als Nachfolger des nach Dresden übergesiedelten Zeis folgend, als ord. Prof. d. Chir. nach Marburg ging. Hier lebte, lehrte und wirkte er bis zu seinem 15. Dez. 1888 erfolgten Tode, nachdem er jedoch schon zu Anfang d.
