The pair published a number of books containing reprints of their popular collaborations.From 1959 Rigby's cartoons were syndicated to various newspapers throughout Australia.Rigby worked briefly atÂRupert Murdoch'sÂSydney Daily MirrorÂfrom 1969. Murdoch had just purchased English tabloidÂThe SunÂand in the same year Rigby relocated toÂLondonÂto work on Murdoch's new acquisition. He spent eight years on theÂNew York Daily NewsÂand for 15 years was the main cartoonist on theÂNew York Post.ÂRigby also contributed work to theÂNews of the World, theÂGermanÂSpringer GroupÂand the U.S.ÂNational Star.Rigby returned to Australia in 1974 to work at theÂSydney Daily TelegraphÂand then moved to the United States to work at another new Murdoch acquisition, theÂNew York Post, also contributing to theÂStar.
