Some foxing and soiling to endpapers; rear free endpaper has small chip at lower fore-edge margin. Some light foxing and scattered minor soiling to interior text leaves which overall remain clean. Binding is firm. This is the scarce leadoff volume of the Publications of the Mississippi Historical Society which reached a total of fourteen volumes published inclusive to 1914 plus a five volume Centenary Series published between 1916 and 1925.
